Read Windsors column today. Pretty poorly written but it got me thinking. Would it be so bad to hold on to JV? We have 2 years left, and he could still pull together another good year. It might just mean more to see him finish out as a Tiger rather than pay $$$ and get a small return for shipping him off.

JV gave up 3, Tigers tied it with 3 in the 7th.....now bottom of the 8th still tied at 3.

When JV pulled he got a partial standing O, I think fans acknowledging he might be gone.
The stands are full of scouts. After the Tigers tied it but didn't get the lead Avila walked over
and hugged JV like he was apologizing for not getting him a chance to win the game.

JV even looked slightly emotional.....weird vibe.
