JV gave up 3, Tigers tied it with 3 in the 7th.....now bottom of the 8th still tied at 3.


When JV pulled he got a partial standing O, I think fans acknowledging he might be gone.
The stands are full of scouts. After the Tigers tied it but didn't get the lead Avila walked over
and hugged JV like he was apologizing for not getting him a chance to win the game.

JV even looked slightly emotional.....weird vibe.

Pretty solid recap. Only thing I would add is Avila had an epic at bat to drive in two runs to tie it up. Beautiful swing.

I'm not a kid now but I remember how much it tore me up to see my 67-72 heroes dismantled.
