You want the garage adjacent to the arena, then. It will cost $40 but you are literally across the courtyard behind the arena, like a 30 yard walk. You can leave your coats in the car.

Take 75 S to exit Mack. Bypass all the cars lined up in the other lane if the exit is backed up. I think you can still turn right from the left lane and if not it's easy to merge.

Get in the right lane approaching Woodward so you don't get caught up behind people trying to turn left. Make your next left onto Cass.

About 4 blocks down, tell the cops/security guard you don't have a pass but want to park in the garage and will pay cash, they'll have you turn left onto a little half street where you can pull into the garage on your right.

This was my experience at the 2 Pistons games I've attended thus far, the most recent one about a month ago. If it's changed since then I apologize in advance.

There’s a stop directly outside. The only issue I’ve had with it was after the MSU game there when 10,000 people all tried to get on it at once. And by issue I mean I had to wait 10 minutes for the next one so I guess it wasn’t a big deal.

How would you assess the Detroit Pistons' first half of the season?

Maybe we’ve overestimated the talent. Maybe we’ve overestimated the coach. Maybe the Pistons' record (22-22) is a perfect reflection of what this team is.

Because nothing seems to change. Nothing seems to improve. Right when you think that the team has turned the corner and they’re ready to challenge for one of the upper spots in the Eastern Conference playoff race, something happens and we find ourselves right back where we’ve been for the past couple of seasons.

The Pistons show promise, then regress. I could repeat that sentence over and over again for the rest of this post and it would sum up the entire first half of the season.

Sports sometimes don’t make much sense, but does any team make less sense than this one? How do the Pistons go on the road and beat teams like the Warriors, Celtics and Timberwolves and lose to teams like the Mavs, Magic and Lakers?

I know what's with you but daren't say it here because it won't be basketball it'll be tribal since I'm ignoring the fucking wonderful job he's doing and the firm grasp he has on things.

"I wasn't happy with our disposition early on," he admitted. "I don't know what's with us. We're not playing hard enough consistently enough. We played hard at times. I thought fought our way back and really gave it a good fight being down 15. But we're not consistent enough at the defensive end and that, I don't understand."

Makes you wonder if Gores is even paying attention.

He may be about where OTPT is accusing me of being - not having a better solution.

But - my opinion:
1) I think the Pistons have generally tuned him out.
2) I don't think he's as qualified as a personnel man as he might be as a coach.
3) I think that was the original mistake - giving him complete control. Maybe Gores doesn't want to admit that mistake.

They miss the playoffs this year, bring in someone else as president/gm/etc. SVG doesn’t want that, then let him go. Hire some young buck to build around Drummond, Harris, and Kennard. Maybe Stanley, but he’s so up and down who the fuck knows. Bradley can go, Reggie too.
