200 plus shot in Vegas at a concert 50 plus dead

Funny, but last week with friends I noticed at a restaurant this guy did the same thing I do.  I always look at the exits when I go into a new place, he was checking them out. I asked hi if that's what he was doing, he smiled and said "I guess".   I especially have done that when with my kids.  My daughter always laughs that I never can sit in a restaurant with my back to the door.   I tell her it's because that's the way Clint Eastwood always did it, but really, I'm paranoid.

It is fairly easy to alter an over the couter semiautomatic assault rifle, changing it into a fully automatic assault rifle, which is why gun control proponents have been pushing for bans on those models of rifles and on large clips. I always come back to the ammo. I mean, if 500-600 people are dead or wounded then how much ammo did this guy have in that room? 3000? More? There has got to be some acceptable medium for everyone where if someone collects a certain amount of ammo over a certain amount of time then there's gotta be a red flag and some questions are asked.

If he had extended clips he could have gotten about 50-60 in each one, so that's a shit load of clips to purchase. He's definitely had this in mind for a long time.

What "action" would you suggest? Please specify one law other than complete confiscation that would prevent this? The guy broke multiple laws, multiple times - yet somehow you think more laws would have stopped him.

This kind of shit (mass killing) happens all over the world. Even more so than an organized terrorist group, it would be virtually impossible to stop one determined crazy person. Gun, automobile, bomb, etc...makes no difference to a wacko

How would you know if they're collecting ammo? Can make things yourself instead of just buying. Can 3d print gun parts and that's only expanding by the day.
