I might add that into my will just for the sake of irony... wife and kid will be like "wtf"?WhiteBoyHatcher wrote:Bob when you die you should definitely have your ashes spread up north.

Maybe 1/2 on Mackinac Island and the other half in the moat outside of Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom

it's actually in my will to play an acoustic version of Thunder Road at my memorial service (which, as far as I know isn't one of the sales 'services' - but I don't know) - anyhoo.. I should change that to a Taylor Swift tune or a good, corporate country tune.

People who attend funeral services are not the customer.
Funeral services are definitely sold, and often heavily marketed.
(I don't get it, dude.. again, I'm not real smart).
yes - absolutely, though - the funeral industry is one of the biggest rackets in the country. Taking advantage of folks during what is likely the most vulnerable time in their life. Just torch me and throw me in the woods.
or off the deck of the Grand Hotel.. either way.
Absolutely. Every time I see one of those guaranteed issue life insurance ads I cringe when they say they provide enough money for a "proper" funeral. $8-10,000 is absolutely nuts. $2500 or so for cremation is proper enough.

Your earnings potential will be much higher if you do, but so will your burnout rate. All of the people that I know who are....I guess i will just say 500k+ type of people, are in sales. And pretty much every single one of them have lost their mind. So good luck yo.
Who on earth could you be talking about ?

I’m going to start looking for a pink and khaki ceramic urn to pour Bob into.

Makes sense. For 80’s grads from MSU: had a ton of friends go into pharmaceutical sales without a background in it. Thought at the time, weird, but good luck. Man, we’re they right. In their 50’s now and many ready to call it good and play golf. Are pharmaceutical sales still big? Hard to get into? I assume you need a background in it now.

Just based on the pharmaceutical reps that I've seen stop by when I've been at the doctor's, an important requirement is to be a female that is either good looking, or at least flirty/slutty.DWags wrote:Senior Dickfist wrote:Business Development here.
