I'm in a 6 team league. Makes it pretty fun. Everyone gets pretty good players. I get the best ones though.

My regular scoring league ended up cutting back from 10 teams to 8 this year. Not liking it that much. 10 is perfect.NigelUno wrote:I'm in a 6 team league. Makes it pretty fun. Everyone gets pretty good players. I get the best ones though.
Can't even imagine a 6 team league. Does everyone make the playoffs?

If you could bet $100 on Dallas' kicker getting at least 15 points, you would have made easy money. Lock of the century.

I got a little lucky with waivers. Had Delanie Walker as a TE, then picked up Cook and Kittle. Also picked up Big Ben, and started him most of the year. Grabbed E. Sanders, but haven't played him.
I grab whatever D is available that looks good.

Re: 2018 Fantasy Football
The high score league runs the waiver top to bottom...1st place is 10 and last place is 1.
8th place guy dumped Tyler Boyd for Patterson yesterday, apparently unaware A.J. Green looks to be out a few games. AJ is my 3rd WR behind Theilen and Michael Thomas (#1 and #4). Put in an insurance claim for Boyd at #8 waiver preference yesterday. Probably won't get him but wondering specifics of how the waiver works. Claimed him at #8 but will likely be #9 after conclusion of tonight's game. Waiver expires on Wednesday.

Stefon Diggs for Tom Brady. Who wins eh.
Rosters aside, QB points PaTD 7 pts, RuTD 10 pts.
WR - PPR, RuReTD 10pts.
Start 3 WR/TE.

I'd say Diggs depending on who you have to replace Brady with

QBs are the most replaceable, generally speaking. Unless you can play 2 QBs, take the WR.

Shit hit the fan in my work league today. Last place guy traded Gurley and Tyreek Hunt to the 5th place guy for Golladay and Smallwood. Commissioner didn't even think to veto it.
Trading was banned in my other league years ago to prevent collusive hand-offs.

Good news. The 8 of us appalled by the trade voted to reverse it today. The commish is going to clean it up after tonight's game is over. The Pantry wrote:Shit hit the fan in my work league today. Recipient of the win-fall talent dump is the BIL of the dumper. He sounded a bit contrite when the flag was first raised. Turned into a loon when finding out his apple cart was going to be dumped, desperately trying to justify an unjustifiable trade. Was pathetic.

To be fair, I'd say some outlandish shit to get that trade to stand if I were in his shoes, can't fault the hustle there.

Was actually kinda funny. The more he ranted (group text), the more he pissed people off. One guy didn't seem to care much about the trade but got highly offended reading the guy's texts.Cameron wrote:The Pantry wrote:Good news. The 8 of us appalled by the trade voted to reverse it today. I would have to be asleep for 3 straight days to let that trade happen in the first place and when I awoke from my coma I'd reverse that shit before I got out of bed.
Of course, Gurley and Hill are both on my team, so I would have lots of questions to ask.
BTW, your league doesn't vote on all trades?

My work league was not set up to vote on trades. People trusted each other. Trades were win-win for both sides before this.StylesGShmooth wrote:The Pantry wrote:Shit hit the fan in my work league today. Guy that temporarily got Gurley and Hill is new to our league this season. Probably won't be invited back. Same with his BIL, who has been in the league for years.
Have been at or near the bottom of FF and F basketball leagues before. Never talent-dumped anyone. Always strived to not end up being the guy in last place.

Tough choice: Rodgers tonight at Seattle or Ryan on Sunday vs Dallas at home. Was leaning toward Ryan but Fantasy Pros gives Rodgers the edge at 66%

Just like with Tyreek Hill a few weeks ago, Robert Woods is going to score 3 TDs tonight and beat me. Watch.

Re: 2018 Fantasy Football
12 team league, 6 made the playoffs.
The rest of us made the "toilet bowl" for $100 grand prize.
I convinced everyone else in the loser bracket to up the stakes and throw in another $100, winner take $500 (plus the $100 already built in) and runner up gets his $100 back.
Sigh. Why. I don't mind losing the $100 but fucking shit my team loves to lay down.

My secondary playoff experiment miserable failure. Last I checked I had about 52 points and he had about 130. I still have Theilen and Diggs but yeah, FF is gonna cost me ~ $600 this year.

Amari Cooper on my bench, but if Stefon Diggs scores 25 or less tonight, I'll still win my round 1 match up. Thank God my opponent is having a worse week than me.

Out-smarted myself this weekend. Put in Washington's D in both my leagues over the Bears. Didn't hurt much in the low scoring league and still going to win. Bears outscored the Redskins by about 30 in the high scoring league. I need Thielen to outscore Tyler Lockett by 12 tonight to get to the 2nd round.

Re: 2018 Fantasy Football
...and of course I lost in the first round of the playoff to the 8th place team. 12-1 on the season, first round exit. I finished with just shy of 1800 points. No one else even had 1600. This asshole has his best game of the season and I have my worse. I knew this was going to happen. This always happens when I have a dominant team.
Fucked up thing is, up until this year I would have had a bye this week. In all his brilliance; the commissioner, which is me btw, added 2 teams to the playoffs since we expanded the league so no more byes.

Made the championship on the back of Todd Gurley, and now there's real doubt he doesn't play. I have CJA, but my opponent snaked Kelly because I used my waiver priority on Jamaal Williams.
If Gurley can't go, I'll be choosing between CJA and Robert Woods to replace him. Thoughts, swill?
