Who gets fired?

You don't get to coach or run an offense that doesn't score an offensive TD in 3 of your final 4 games against average at best defenses and stay employed.

Well... We lost to a team that scored 7 points. I say "the offense."

No one goes. Probably one of the defensive coordinators.
Offense coordinators are paid the same as Dantonio.

I just finished watching it (blind). Jesus. I don't even know what to say.

The worst offender? The OL.

Then...tie for everything. The WRs couldn't get open. I did not understand at all the USU/Chip Kelly approach on Offense where we go to the line, watch them line up, step back, look to the sideline and then.....NOT ADJUST AT ALL???? (Oh hey, 8 man box vs. 3-1 personnel pre-snap read? Let's go back and run.....a counter up the middle!!!)

Lewerke also is not good enough to overcome the above. Cook and Cousins might have been. Not sure. Lewerke might also still be banged up.

The offense needs a much better OL next year and a savior either at the WR, RB or QB position to be decent. Cuz no one is getting fired.

I still think it's scapegoating. If you think fucking Don Coryell could come in and save this offense next year you're fooling yourself. If he brings Dan Fouts with him, maybe.

What I do get is why they persisted in calling shit that wasn't working. Like we were the 73 Bills and OJ had the Electric Company blocking for him.

Lewerke still didn't look healthy but he could run. Why not put the freaking option in? Stick Scott and Nailor in the backfield with him and go.

Agree. We had decent success running the option early in the season.

They ran the option quite a few times yo. The option also gets your QB killed. I don't know what you can do with this personnel. I would have hoped they could have come up with something over the past month. But I guess not.

Agree. The whole thing is just broken. The best thing we can do at this point is just hope we get healthy and probably bring in some outside help to fix the offense.

Either their vision or football iq is very low. Film room and reps are more needed than strength I believe.

You'll never convince me our OL cannot run an effective scheme. Someone mentioned Washington State as an example. They currently have 3 alumni on an NFL roster. We have 11. Yet that team finds a way every single year under Leach to make their offense work. They have 1 QB in the show, 1 OL, and 1 RB We need to find those people who can make an offense work. Adaptability is key. College offenses are evolving. Ours isn't.

Yes, the one who's drafted QB was out, who's back up blew his head off a month later, who's best defensive player sat, and two best receivers didn't play.

You guys there are bigger problems. I don't care if Dantonio parades Warner up to some gallows in front of Rick's tomorrow and chops his head off. Program is in a weird place right now. Sean McVeigh isn't going to get greater production out of this group as it stands.

I find it hard to believe that one side of the ball can be elite and the other side literally 132nd out of 136. You cannot recruit that badly one one side and not the other. It's the same program fer gods sake. I'm not saying they're going to turn into Oklahoma under different coaching and strategies but you can't convince me they can't be top 60 with the right leadership.
