Back around 1992 I had to make a presentation to a Chrylser dealer group in Mobile. The meeting place happened to be in some restaurant back room with dark paneling. They didn't get the message that it was going to be a slide presentation and I needed a screen.

don't get me wrong.. I love the south. Spent many years down there and traveled almost every road in the southeast, it seems. But it can be interesting.

Spent a long weekend in Columbus, GA last summer, right on the Alabama line. Tons of family in both GA and Alabama. Been to games at Auburn.. (that's an experience, too - and not necessarily in a positive way).
