as far as I know.. I swung in there a year or two ago with a buddy of mine who used to live in Williamston and still drove out there to get his hair cut.

he (Ron) also would run guns in and out of there.. I don't know the deets but my buddy is a gun nut and would always have these 'off the record' conversations with him about ordering stuff.

I was still in single digits when I got my Butch haircuts from him, and I never knew how he spelled his name. I heard “Ron” and never considered how it was spelled. As for the photo, I can’t see it on my phone, but unless it’s a pic from 1970, I probably wouldn’t remember, and even then, who knows?

luckily, I just trim around the edges periodically.. saves money, time.. I could count on one hand the number of times I've fucked it up. But when you wear jeans and band t-shirts every day, it's really not the kind of thing to be concerned with.

I couldn’t do that. My hair gets too thick after about six weeks. Thinning it out may run counter to evolutionary principles, but it gets uncomfortably warm up there.

There was a XXX drive-in off Grand River. I never visited it. But, at M-78 drive-in, you could watch numerous movies at once.

I remember going with a neighbor's parents, in THE family trickster to The Deep...and next screen over was Alice In Wonderland Rated X. I remember, it was a hot knight.

There was a drive in on Van Dyke south of 14 Mile in Warren.  Went there for years to watch movies as a kid.  

By the time I hit HS someone bought the property just north of it and developed it into a putt-putt, arcade, bar.  You could park on the south side of that place and watch all the B movies the drive in had started showing.

There was also a drive in on 15 Mile just west of I-75. Headed SB on 75 you could see tits plain as day.

Yep. Like Saw mentioned, it was on Grand River Ave east of Okemos. The Crest Drive-In was a family place when I was a kid. Went there with my parents. Went there once after it turned to XXX. Can’t even remember the title, not that it matters. It always gives me a laugh to think it was torn down to make way for St. Martha’s Catholic Church.

Are you sure it went porn in the 60s or 70s? I could’ve sworn I met the family that owned that place before it became an adult film drive-in. IIRC, their last name was Anderson. Met them when they vacationed on Walloon Lake, but I would’ve guessed it was early 80s, though I suppose it could’ve been some time in the 70s.

A high school friend used to live next door to it. Her mom complained enough that they eventually had to build a Trump height wall to block the view.
