I don't know what thread to comment in. The past 23 hours have been an eye opener. We have some donors who really are hell bent on winning. That's good for us. The amount that we are committing to coaching salaries is probably not coming back in revenue, and I understand a decent chunk of it is private. We aren't quite swimming with the big 4-5 but we aren't far behind. This is a new level of commitment.

Also the emphasis on recruiting can't be overstated. I know nothing of Tucker and his recruiting prowess or his morals. Some rumblings if this Morrow cat being willing to bend rules. Not sure if true. If so... Combine the two factors above and this is a much different football program. With a higher ceiling and a willingness to get in the weeds. Just my speculation, judgement withheld.

I like the guy a lot and I'm very excited to see what transpires. It's going to breathe some life into the football program regardless of how things play out.

MSU is modernizing their football program. Sell alcohol in the stadium and they’ll make their money back. Michigan has so many microbrews imagine the taps they could have on their party deck.

I think the big difference could be that there is enough money in the pot to bring people in that never had a chance before. So maybe it’s not about the money, but the idea you’re willing to spend it outside the building your desk is in.
