Emmanuel Mudiay has decided to skip college and play in Europe

Basketball recruiting is a tough business. And even when you do land the #1 recruit in the nation, it might not end well:

He had committed to play for Larry Brown at SMU. That's a huge hit for SMU, they were poised to make a lot of noise by adding him to their roster.

I guess the check didn't clear

This was the guy by choosing SMU instead of Kentucky likely pushed MSU out of the picture for Tyler Ulis.
