If you’re gracious enough to do the shopping, why would you come home and take perfectly sliced lunch neat ham and not put it in the lunch meat drawer? Why would you plan a potato salad with green onions tomorrow and not take the extra second to put them in the veggie drawer? I love her to death. Swear I wouldn’t cheat on her with a younger hotter woman. She’s cool as hell and when she’s drunk and asking why the fuck Maxwell cant throw it to our guys like cousins did I’d do it with her right then But at this point she had to be doing shut to drive me nuts. Or not thinking about my idiosyncratic problems.

I’m serious. Just put the shit where it belongs. I’m a reasonable person. It takes two seconds.

We don't have a garbage disposal since we have a septic system. But somehow both strainers are always laying off to the side after the wife makes something in the kitchen. How the eff is that even possible?

apparently, my wife hates it when I come in from a run or a bike ride and hang my sweaty clothes on various door knobs to dry (I'm not gonna wad sweaty workout clothes up and throw them in the clothes hamper.. they should be dry, right?).

what drives me insane about my lovely wife of 26 years is similar to what DWags said. I am a beacon of anti-clutter. I hate stuff just laying on coffee tables, countertops, dining room tables, etc (sweaty clothes on door knobs are okay) - so if she leaves, say, a butter knife sitting on the countertop I feel my chest tighten. This is by design guys. Little passive aggressive things, sometimes done subconsciously & often on a timeline measured in years, to establish/challenge control.

Or it's a tit for tat thing. You've made some minor transgression recently & she's trying to "get you back". Except she's not going to tell you any of that. You're supposed to figure it all out on your own & correct your ways.
