LT was released also. If he clears waivers likely will be signed to Jets PS.

The Raiders waived Shilique Calhoun a week ago, re-signing him to the practice squad. They promoted him to the 53-player roster Tuesday to take the place of defensive tackle Brian Price.

They have no pass rush. I don’t get Gruden.

Just saw the Panthers cut Connor Cook earlier this week. The curse of Archie Griffin continues.

Re: Spartans in the NFL
Redskins must not have been happy with Montae....
===================
Redskins trade for Packers S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
Clinton-Dix, who had started 65 games for Green Bay since being picked in the first round in 2014, is off to Washington for a 2019 fourth-round pick. Clinton-Dix has three interceptions this season, and he was a Pro Bowler in 2016.
Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix is a tremendous get for Washington. Green Bay's secondary has a ton of young depth, but Clinton-Dix was the best and most proven player in the group. Youngsters Kentrell Brice, Josh Jones and Jermaine Whitehead will handle safety snaps moving forward. In Washington, Clinton-Dix will team up with D.J. Swearinger to form one of the NFL's top safety duos. Second-year Montae Nicholson will be reduced to No. 3 safety duties.

Re: Spartans in the NFL
From Bengals.com:
"Monday’s workout wasn’t the first time this season the Bengals were impressed with the way former Raiders quarterback Connor Cook threw the ball. Back in September when he was a member of the Panthers practice squad, his throws in pre-game warmup caught the eye. After the 6-4, 215-pound Cook spun it again, the Bengals opted to sign him to the practice squad and release Christian Hackenberg, Cook’s fellow quarterback from the draft class of 2016."

Didn't realize Riley was the starting MLB with David out. Of course the Giants went down the field like nothing. Going to watch and see how he does. Also curious to see if Lipp plays.

Dude holds onto the ball too long, fumbles constantly, and can't hit the deep passes. The bench is coming, and it's coming soon.
Sorry dude. At least he got paid.

Yeah, appreciate what he did for us but apparently he wasn't just a victim of the shitty Washington racial slurs franchise.

I'd say he's done now. Dude made the most out of what he had. He so hit his ceiling and now we're seeing the downslide I think. Hope he exits gracefully. When you're called out like that and your fan base starts turning on you, it's time to enjoy those big pay days he had and get on with his ministering. Loved the guy.

Not a good look here.

Point is, I don't think he has the locker room. Good luck getting it back. Honestly, guy is one of my all time favorite spartans and frankly human beings. But it's maybe time to be Mahones back up, or Staffords back up or Rodgers back up. Put him on a contenders teams which needs some insurance for their quarterback. He's a good team mate that will work people hard in practice.

Re: Spartans in the NFL
Great Spartan gave us lots of fun memories, but none of this is a shock to me or probably any of you. What was more shocking was the amount of money KC got from Minny, and I’m genuinely happy for the guy that he’s financially safe for life.
Can you imagine how Cousins would be treated by the fans and media if he’d gone with the Jets instead of the more polite Minnesotans? Yikes.

Let's just all take a moment and be glad that it's the Vikings that he's sucking for, and not a franchise any of us actually root for.

Your thoughts were fair. It’s more of the generalizations (as i said) that I’m talking about, by me, d wags, greenway, and pylon.

Re: Spartans in the NFL
Well, some people actually looked at his performance, saw the exchange, seemed like the vikings were not doing that great, nor did many of his teammates seem to be warm to him and came to the conclusion, his run was over. I was one of those. It appears, due to the last couple of games, I was wrong. I hope it trends that way some more. I think those people who believe you get your opinion from sports radio talking heads, or where ever, are the people who actually do. Some of us can come to conclusions all on our own. Some, need that security blanket of some disc jokey giving them an opinion. I like that when I am often wrong, it's of my own volition Like I say, I hope this is one of those times. (However, I hope they still lost to the packers and don't threaten them for a division title)

In my defense, I’ve always thought he was an overrated and overpaid pro who was never going to lead a team to the SB. But I’m happy he’s getting all that cheddar.
Edit: btw, I don’t need sports radio or nfl pregame shows to form my own opinions, which is why I don’t watch or listen to them.
