I was one of those. It appears, due to the last couple of games, I was wrong. I hope it trends that way some more. I think those people who believe you get your opinion from sports radio talking heads, or where ever, are the people who actually do. Some of us can come to conclusions all on our own. Some, need that security blanket of some disc jokey giving them an opinion. I like that when I am often wrong, it's of my own volition Like I say, I hope this is one of those times. (However, I hope they still lost to the packers and don't threaten them for a division title)
D wags no one said that you get your opinion from a sports talking head bro bro. Or greenway. Fuck guys, read.

I think I might also be wrong about Pat Shermer the NYG and their new quarterback danny dimes or whatever his nickname is.
I'm often wrong with my opinion, but damn Shermer looked like a lost beat puppy the week before he inserted danny dimes.

Did anyone see the trick play the dolphins pulled off on Washington? Taybor peppers had a perfect one handed snap to a man in motion instead of the deep punt man. I have no idea how he did it. Perfect timing. I saw it on FB, but can't find it on youtube. Man comes in motion with speed Peppers snaps it and the guy doesn't lose stride and goes around the edge for a first down. wow.

Re: Spartans in the NFL
I watched the play happen. I don't recall seeing a punter out there, I thought they lined up to look like they were going for it on 4th down, maybe he was out there. Anyway, the guy running across slowed down the last couple of steps before the snap. No way is the defense going to be ready for it, because they had no one lined up on the outside. It was a great call and I can't believe the Dolphins came close to ruining their bid for the #1 draft pick.DWags wrote:Did anyone see the trick play the dolphins pulled off on Washington? I guess I assumed they were punting because Pepper was wearing #46. I wasn’t sure a center could wear that number unless they declared a punt or whatever. I don’t know the rule on that.
Still a pretty accurate snap.

Haven’t seen Shaquille Coleman playing tonight for the Pats. IIRC, he was getting quite a few snaps early on this season. No idea if he’s injured or they were just using him as a piece of meat in place of the veterans.

Re: Spartans in the NFL
He was playing on special team snaps. Also saw him on some defensive snaps, but not very many. On the season, he's played about 1/3 of the defensive snaps and about 2/3 of the special teams snaps. (Assuming you meant Shilique Calhoun.)tGreenWay wrote:Haven’t seen Shaquille Coleman playing tonight for the Pats. IIRC, he was getting quite a few snaps early on this season. Thanks. I must not have been looking during those times he was in. Plus, I always forget to look during ST plays.

Bears are the betting favorite to land him. My out of the box prediction? Seattle. They take chances on character guys because of their culture with Carroll and Russ. Second choice Tampa.

Tom Brady likes to use running backs for targets. But I'm thinking Bears too.

The Jets will keep Gase till the end so they can get the number one pick. But that pick will never be Gase's pick.
Isn't Gase a Spartan?
Edit: Yes. Marshall H.S. and MSU.

New Yorkers must love MSU. We gave them Bell, Gase, and Pat Shurmur.
