I don't think this is really about yesterday. It more about drawing the line so that it doesn't happen again.

Obviously she doesn't want the 25th invoked. Using reverse psychology on a child. She wants impeachment. She knows there's no way Pence uses the 25th and has "you caved to Nancy" hanging over his head in 2024.

Pence won't invoke the 25th Amendment because it would put his life in jeopardy.

The 25th would only benefit the short term. Impeachment is important for the long term. Sane Republicans should be jumping all over the latter to bar Trump from holding the office again and begin taking back and reshaping their party.

House Democrats formally introduced their resolution to impeach President Donald Trump on Monday, charging him with "incitement of insurrection" for his role in last week's riots at the US Capitol.

The resolution also cited the Constitution's 14th Amendment, noting that it "prohibits any person who has 'engaged in insurrection or rebellion against' the United States" from holding office.

Before Trump, every post WW2 former President might travel to functions like funerals of foreign leaders; coordinate with a current administration to visit other countries like Jimmy Carter has done to build homes and watch election procedures in other countries. Included in that $1.5M is airfare, lodging and meals for security that travels with the former President and/or his wife.

Trump is a loose cannon on a rolling deck. We haven’t had a former President who is seen as a security risk by current and former members of the Joint Chiefs. That’s why they are suggesting Former President Trump is kept out of the loop for security briefings and any updates.

I suspect the Trump family grift is coming to a close. None of the Trump children will be traveling on the Federal dime and they will all be paying for their own security in less than 2 weeks. Donald and Melanie lose their limo that drives thru red lights and police escorts that will stop traffic.
