If part of that prostitution involves paying for them to travel across state lines, it's trafficking.

As far as DeathSantis, a photo doesn't mean anything. Greenberg has always been a player in the Florida GOP. However, some of the reports did mention that a woman said that Gaetz and Greenberg had her have sex with another Florida Republican politician. Of course, that could be anyone, but I would love to see DeathSantis crash and burn.

I’m starting to think this is going to end up with no indictment, no resignation, or committee removal. Who tries to extort a family for millions thinking they can make something disappear unless they know it’s going away anyhow and there’s not much actionable. Granted 20 years ago he’s gone. But today? No way.

You would think so, but then again he has so much shit against him that I don't know if they would really strike a deal to get Gaetz. And if we set aside politics, they shouldn't. You don't usually give a mob boss a deal to squeal on a capo. But it could be argued that Gaetz's position as a Congressman, and on the Judicial Committee (overseeing the department investigating him), makes it more important to nail him at the expense of a reduced sentence for Greenberg.

Word is that the national media has only scratched the surface on Gaetz's sleaziness, but I don't know if that means deeper legal issues or not.

I don't know. He's pretty slippery, so probably has his ass covered, especially if Publix is denying any connection, too. The issues where he gave vaccines to certain rich areas may be more scandalous. But as more people get vaccines, I think there will be less outrage about who got them earlier.

It’s a no win situation for AOC. It would be like Izzo scheduling a game against Boyne Falls. Wipe the floor and you’re picking on her. Somehow not give a good showing and you’re humiliated. Not to mention you can’t debate people who rant about Jewish space lasers and speak nonsense. MTG would declare herself victorious no matter what, even without saying a single substantive word during the debate.

At best (for Republicans), a 1/6 Commission would paint Trump in a bad light, and since most Republicans have gone all in on licking Trump's ass, it would paint them in a bad light, as well. That's the BEST case scenario for Republicans if there's a 1/6 Commission, just to look bad. From there it goes downhill for them, with some potentially proven to be complicit, if not outright aiding the insurrection (which would see them banned from ever holding office per the Constitution).
