Writers pick wrongly!

Nineteen of the 29 voters picked Ohio State to win the Big Ten title, with nine votes going to Michigan State and one to Nebraska. The West Division breakdown was scattered, as Wisconsin led with 14 votes, but Iowa, Nebraska and Northwestern all received support.

Wisconsin? They have to replace their entire front 7 and their most productive returning WR had only 10 catches last year.

If they make the CCG due to their schedule, they'll get crushed.

Probably after this year, if they don't do well again. Last year was our previous season for them. I think they lost 5 games by about 18 points and there is no reason that um should have beat them. They just don't appear to have the resources that other schools do, or care to use them to promote football. As soon as Fitz is gone, most people probably think they will replace Purdue as the worst team in the B1G.

I hear you, but I think at this point Wisconsin has earned the benefit of the doubt.

I still think Michigan is a fraud, and surprised the writers have them that high. But then again their schedule is so frigging weak.

Fitz came up with a good system to exploit the slower defenses of the B1G, which is to run the O through the QB. He'll throw short throws with high percentages for completion or the QB will tuck the ball and run. Their starter can go down and the back up QB will perform almost as well.

Where will Fitz go though, that guy bleeds purple, if he can convince NW to ease off the academic thing a bit for the athletic dept (which some are saying he may be able to do) and get some better recruits (dude can sell chicago), NW could be scary in that weak ass west.

CFB is a strange unpredictable beast, yet these experts pick the same fucking teams every year.

It's like ground hogs day, the movie...but instead of a day, the repetition plays out over the course of several months. wake up see OSU and Michigan are predicted to do well. Turn on the TV over several saturdays in the fall and the wheels come off the wagon. Same shit, different year.

Last year some of the same writers didn't have MSU in their Top 25 until week 10.

Then they were ranked @22 right behind #21 umma, the team they defeated 2 weeks earlier.

The only thing Dantonio and crew can do is get it done on the field.
