Now, June 23 weekend is going to be massive.

Tucker and Co. welcome a handful of top-100 recruits to campus like David Stone, Jason Brown, Nick Marsh, and DeAndre Carter. Those guys are all at the top of the target board and Tucker needs to knock these visits out of the park — particularly for Stone and Marsh.

There are also guys like Justin Denson, Jason Cross, and the Luniewski twins who could be on commit watch this weekend.

Tucker is facing arguably his biggest recruiting weekend since last summer.

Pet peeve. When you write a blog you have to write as if your audience has no idea who these people are (because I don’t). Full name and position at minimum. Unless I missed it, the positions of Stone and Marsh are never mentioned. Others player positions are mentioned toward the end, but even that should be mentioned earlier.

I agree, I think they should tell me up front what the players shoe size is, what their favorite snow cone flavor is, if they have any allergies to chloroform, what some of their turns ons/turns offs are, you know all of that basic information that the real recruiting insiders might have known for years but an interested outside like me might have no idea what the usually use as a safe word

For Nordic, he is 7'8, 17ft wingspan, 374 lbs, and runs a 2.65 40.

A highly regarded name in the 2024 recruiting class made his way onto campus this week. Charles Lester was on campus checking out East Lansing on Wednesday.

Lester is a native of Venice, Florida, attending Venice High School, the same high school that produced current MSU cornerback Charles Brantley.

Lester is a 5-star prospect, ranking as the No. 18 overall player and the No. 2 cornerback in the 2024 recruiting class.

MSU’s lack of a D1 lacrosse team will change recruiting pitch for him.

Reality is unless he plays QB at a school like Johns Hopkins where lacrosse is D1 and football is D3 and coaches can agree, there’s no way a D1 football coach is letting a QB on scholarship use the spring to play lacrosse.
