What’s the point of DTE advertising anyway? I never really understood that

Let’s be honest here. Did any of us old folks ever stop calling it Pine Knob?
The DTE name was horrible. If the company had any common sense, they’d’ve kept the Pine Knob name and added their own. Whatevs. Doesn’t matter now.

All the stadium naming stuff is stupid.

If Spartan Stadium ever gets renamed, just shoot me.

It’s moved into the mainstream now, but fans here would revolt. More likely, it would be the Rocket Mortgage Spartan Stadium or UWM Spartan Stadium. And yes, I’d hate it.

La people got really mad that they couldn’t call it the staples center anymore but now they get to call it the crypt so who could be mad about that, that’s an upgrade

That would be late 70’s early 80’s and it had to be around the Fourth of July because they always were at castle farms then.

Staples was never good. The Crypt is far worse. The Forum had some class.

Not a boomer... was at Pine Knob seemingly every week for a good 2 year span in the late 80s early 90s. Fun stuff.
