To each their own. I couldn’t/wouldn’t do it. My uncle is a lot like OTPT. He has two degrees from Wayne State and always cheered for the Spartans. Then, back in the early 90s, when he started betting on games, he’d frequently lose his MSU bets. He eventually drifted over to the dark side and became a walvie because he could count on umaa to win him some cash. Not my thing.

Fan hood is ok. Betting is ok. People are funny. I’ve never placed a bet against MSU for an amount that has changed my desire for them to win a game or be mad they won. If I did then I’m betting to much. I’ve definitely placed wagers on them to win that have pissed me off though lol.

I think I’m sold on Iowa. Their one game with Indiana was weird this year. Indiana made the same amount of FGs as Iowa but shot poorly from the stripe and committed 23 turnovers to iowas 10. If they clean that up they might cover. Is Iowa really going to keep shooting at a 56% clip in the tourney? I’m leaning taking the points but Iowa winning. Haven’t looked at the state game yet.
