There’s nothing I can specifically recall, but it does seem like he recently called TO when the opposing team went up by six points. Seems like it was done not just to kill their Big Mo, but to get our guys to settle down and regroup. Or I was hallucinating.

It has been his MO forever. College hoops has confusing as hell TO rules. Some 1st half TOs rollover, some don't. I don't f'ing know. I bet Nigel can chime in to clarify.

Anyway he will horde TOs for the end of the half/game. You really gotta force an early 1st half TO outta him. MidTennSt game is a good example. Been a pet peeve of mine. Frustrating to watch teams go on a big1st half. But it has probably worked for him more than it has bit him in the ass.
