I'm hoping he is the number 1 overall pick, however realistically late first round or second round.

I guess you take him at #2 if you think he's better than any of the QBs coming out next year. Carolina might take a QB at 6, and maybe Atlanta at 8 (or Steelers at 20). 2 seems a little high (for any of the QBs this year).

I think you convince mock draft goobers to think you’ll take Willis so that those teams at 6 and 8 think they need to trade up

Oh my god can we just have this freaking draft already? Every year the speculation generated by sports writers and cable networks starts earlier and earlier.

Got 12 and 46 in return. Actually a good trade. I just don't love the pick.

The sound production of this Draft is fucking awful. Outdoor acqoustics are bad. Dudes screaming into the mic, the echo, the annoying background music, etc. Loud noises! Holy fuck am I getting old

To be fair to Travis nige, a couple of months ago you very much disagreed with my take that I was rooting against the rams no matter what because even a spot or two could make a difference. I gotta wonder if that 32 were, say, 27 because the rams lost to Tampa, if that 2nd round pick swap wouldn’t have been necessary to move up.
It’s a great trade regardless, but I just think that my previous take requires some defending now that exactly what I was referring to played itself out

They would of traded the 27, 34 & 66 for the 12 & 46. This trade is mathematically worse Travis.

Nordie, I swear. Maybe it’d be a 4th rounder instead of a 3rd? I dunno, I’m not the Vikings but they seem pretty willing to take whatever slop is put in front of them (harbaugh, slop for the 12th pick, etc)

Mock Draft Rd 2 & 3
46. Detroit Lions (via Vikings): Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina
57. Buffalo Bills: Kenneth Walker III, RB, Michigan State
97. Lions: Tariq Castro-Fields, CB, Penn State
Not a big Howell fan, but I'm all for taking the best QB available with the next pick. Or KW3 would be sweat good too.

If Hall goes 37 to Houston, will be interesting if someone trades up for Walker or just takes him before 57.
Falcons 43
Chiefs 50
Patriots 54
Cardinals 55
After you have
Falcons 58
Bucs 60
49ers 61

I don’t know I’m not enough of a football bro to be breaking down tape like all that. But, they have 2 first round picks again next year in a thicker, creamier quarterback draft. Even if they don’t suck enough to be top 5 again, a trade up for someone is maybe possible. If you take one not as good now in the second round, you won’t seriously entertain abandoning that guy in just a year where they didn’t play at all.
