Thank you, Swill

Today was a landmark day for political news, and I appreciate that there's a place to read the reactions of smart adults. I checked the RCMB, where I saw complaints about posts being deleted and Trevor's response that it's not a political board.

We don't always agree, and there's nothing wrong with that. One of my favorite message board phenomena is when I'm backing someone up in an argument about politics while disagreeing with that person about sports, or vice versa. Thank you for allowing grownups to talk.

Go back and see how many threads on the first three pages have me as the most recent poster. I’m trying, and I’ll keep trying, because this is my favorite hangout. It drives losers like 26/numbersdude nuts knowing we pretty much like each other even when we disagree. His tantrum in the thread Au posted is proof. The guy is losing it over this place, something he considers inconsequential.

I do appreciate the numbersdude melt down over there. And some of the others let their insecurities show. I tend to think that the RCMBers that bash this place just dont like that we aren't RCMB2. They are the ones that troll, that create schticks, etc., and that doesn't work here for the most part. Numbersdude is only the latest that figured this out, but the reaction is the same as tanfan, Moose, blanch, and others. "They silence anyone that disagrees with them" is basically code for "they dont let me have different schticks to create needless drama."
