Not sure what is unfolding at Oklahoma, but it seems Cale Gundy, former player and long-time assistant coach (and brother of Mike Gundy) resigned after using a racial slur. He says it was unintentional.

Reading his apology and ownership of it, it seems something deeper is going on. Who knows.

That is what I thought, or maybe we are so used to "I am sorry if you were offended" types of apologies that this "I did a bad thing and I own it" stuff seems off.
