Carolina’s DJ Moore just ran a great route and hauled in a bomb to tie the falcons with :12 sec left in regulation. He celebrated by removing his helmet, causing a 15-yd penalty. ATL had the penalty enforced on the PAT, resulting in a 48-yd attempt, which drifted wide left. Tie game going into OT.

I'm not so sure. Doesn't the name Dave Williams ring a bell? Losing on the 1st play of OT on a 95-yard kickoff return is right up there. I don't think there has been one in OT in the 42 years since, let alone the opening OT kickoff.

Kickoff returns happen from time-to-time. It's not a regular part of the game by any means, but still a part of the game. Whatever that was at the end of the Pats game was unexplainable. Although Patricia is back with the Pats, so maybe that explains it.
