Three young friends are walking through the woods...

...when they come across an old bottle. One picks it up and begins to wipe it clean. While doing so, a genie appears. The genie states they may all have three wishes.
The first man asks for one billion dollars. "Granted" says the genie. The second shouts I wish to be the richest man in the world!...."Granted!". The third says I want my left arm to spin counter clockwise for the rest of my life. "Ok? Granted?!?" states the genie, and the mans arm begins to spin.
Now for your second wish! says the genie. The first man says I want the most beautiful woman for my wife. "Granted!" says the genie and instantly a striking woman with love in her eyes appears before the first man. The second man requests to be the most attractive man on earth which no woman can deny. "Granted!" states the genie as the first mans wife begins takes notice of the second man. The third man says, Now, I want my right arm to spin clockwise for the rest of my life! "Ok, yeah, granted!" says the genie. The mans other arm begins to spin uncontrollably.
Now for your third and final wishes... The first says he wants to be immune from all illness and never get sick. "Done!" says the genie. The second man states he wants to be 29 years old forever and not age a day. "Granted!". The third man with the last wish says "I want my head to nod back and forth forever!" "Yeah, right!" states the genie. The mans heads nods in agreement. The genie smiles, tips its hat and vanishes.
Many years later, the three men meet to discuss their lives and the fortunes the genie bestowed upon them. The first man excitedly tells of his fortunes, health, his beautiful wife, and the friends and family he has. The second man talks happily of his charitable investments, the beautiful women, and the adventures in his life. The third man says "Guys, I think I fucked up!"
Its a bad joke, welcome to the end.

Huh... not sure what to make of this joke. While it was obvious through the EXTENSIVE build up that the 3rd person was some sort of idiot, the punch line just confirming didn't strike me as funny.
I suppose the joke is that the obvious happened?

Jokes, and stories like this one, where there is an obvious and anti-climactic ending were once called shaggy dog tails. I don't know why, though.

Guessing here, but an educated guess: Generally speaking, shaggy dogs are smaller than they appear. Motown’s joke looked to have a large payout but delivered nothing but a short, logical, and not funny conclusion. Which, btw, is why I laughed. We all got snookered.
