Scanner talk should be taken with a grain of salt. My wife texted me from GR saying they heard a guy was close to us at Harrison & GR. Detroit News has confirmed one dead—so far.

On cop on the scanner reported smelling gunpowder or fireworks o/s Hubbard. By the tone, it sounded like the later.
