They don’t get much money and shouldn’t be expected to buy everything out of their own pocket. I just looked it up, 3-4 is typical. Four for a Spartan.

I haven’t seen him in a couple days, either. If he doesn’t show up today it might be time to start wondering if something happened to him. If need be, I’ll switch with mom and take turns keeping the eggs warm on the nest. I’ll even wave at you guys.

FWIW, I saw them switch out yesterday. He came, she left the nest and he sat on the eggs (could be the other way around - I have difficulty telling them apart). Most of the time you do not see them switch on camera, one leaves to hunt and the other comes to sit on the eggs. They can see their mate and they leave, it is just not on camera.

So I just let it stream all day on a laptop I leave on the kitchen table. Mrs. GreenWay stops to watch a few times a day. I’m glad you mentioned seeing a switch out, because I haven’t seen two in a few days. Puts my mind at ease knowing dad is doing his job and I don’t have to squeeze into that tiny nest.
