I'm thinking that with the depleted roster Fralick is going to shorten the bench. Meng prolly gets 80 minutes. The other two women and their three knees can fight over the rest.

Michigan State women's basketball adds high-scoring guard Lauren Ross from transfer portal

In Ross, MSU has landed one of the MAC's top players. Prior to suffering a season-ending knee injury in January, Ross led the MAC in points per game, total points and made field goals. Ross averaged 21.8 points and shot 46.5% from the field, 34.3% from behind the 3-point arc and 83.9% from the free-throw line.

A player coming off a season ending injury is a little too on brand for MSU women's basketball, but this looks like a great get.

I think she has now hurt both knees. Played only 4 games as a FR before hurting her left knee. I think it was the right knee this time.

Robyn Fralick has landed another player to the Michigan State basketball program who she had recruited to play at Bowling Green.

Dearborn Divine Child senior guard Kennedy Blair announced her plans to join Fralick with the Spartans on Instagram on Wednesday.

The 5-foot-9 Blair became the second player originally signed to play at Bowling Green who has decided to play at MSU. Mary Meng also switched from BGSU to MSU.

When the coach whose been on medical leave since mid January steps down March 13 and the new coach is officially hired March 31, the recruiting trail is pretty bare.

I guess Fralick could have decided to stand pat and field a team of those who decided to stay and walkons and start recruiting for the class of ‘24 with a clean slate.
