at least it'll give the children some reading material right before they're obliterated by a 'pro-life' assault rifle..
this is the best part:

AUSTIN — Texas lawmakers are scheduled to vote Tuesday on whether to require that the Ten Commandments be posted in every classroom in the state, part of a newly energized national effort to insert religion into public life.
this is the best part:
Texas state Sen. Mayes Middleton (R), who co-sponsored or authored three of the religion bills: “When prayer was taken out of schools, things went downhill — discipline, mental health. It’s something I heard a lot on porches when I was campaigning. It’s something I’ve thought about for a long time.”

So the same Republican party that wants to abolish the Department of Education wants to out the 10 Commandments in all of the classrooms? Makes sense, the want to program children that don't die in mass shootings, not educate them.

if the 'pro-life' christians have their way (which, of course, they will), they'll continue the tradition of having to identify children at school by the clothes their parents last saw them wearing that morning.
looking forward to the "pro-life" republican/libertarian christians telling me that christianity is a good thing.

The Old Testament has all sorts of blood & gore along with all sorts of what the "one woman/one man" marriage crowd would consider outside the bounds regarding sexual relations.
Heck, even their "savior" was a bastard child of adultery between a married woman and a supernatural being.

makes sense as to why the "pro-life" christians consider the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator their savior nowadays.Trapper Gus wrote:Robert J Sakimano wrote: I can't say I've ever read it, but from what I can tell about the 'pro-life- christians, I suspect you're onto something.
