The battle of who could care less: Maryland pregame thread

I have decided to tell myself that Saturday was an aberration. The events of the previous week were too much of a distraction, the team was in the weird place, and all of it made perpetration incredibly hard. Honestly, that's understandable. If not, and the team we saw on Saturday is the team we will see all season, Maryland is going to be a problem.

Maryland is 3-0 with blowout wins against Townson, UNC Charlotte, and Virginia. Tagovailoa returns for his 33rd year as Maryland's starting QB and he can sling it. He is averaging just under 300 yards per game, completing 67% of his passes, and has thrown five touchdowns to two interceptions. He played really well against UVA. Their top two RBs have a combined 61 carries for 409 yards, so they can run the ball (individually averaging 6.1 and 7.9 yards per carry). I am not too sure about their opponents, but after watching MSU against UW, it's possible this will be no tougher of a matchup than UVA, a 42-14 win for Maryland.

That’s what I’m thinking. I hope the offense can keep pace if the defense isn’t getting stops. Not really sure how good the Maryland defense is, but they did look good against UVA.
