To Travis point, he actually got 28 outs that game. No perfect game can ever top that.

I understand this thinking and can’t disagree, but did the baseball HoF take a ball or glove from the game? Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think so, thus robbing Galarraga’s permanent spot in the Hall. Joyce was an excellent
ump, and good on Armando for forgiving him, but the whole situation still sucks.

They do have the base and Galarrag's shoe, but like MLB, they do not recognize the perfect game. Never will either.

Didn’t know that. Thank you. At least it’s been memorialized and Galarraga has some sort of recognition among the best.

As an umpire there you have to know any close play you have to call out
