Not trying to homer it. Langford is a feature back. He is. I don't think Chicago's OL or QB situation is that special. Langford is doing everything.

Westland John Glenn. Amazing.

Texans report: Bullough shows he's good fit at LB

When the Texans made linebacker Max Bullough a starter against the Titans before the open week, he became the fourth starter to line up next to veteran middle linebacker Brian Cushing this season.

And his coach is Mike Vrabel. Bet if Vrabel feels the need to get under Max's skin, he breaks out 17-16. Hope Max responds with "Sad Pizza."

The Redskins receivers were so bad, it was like they were actively plotting against him.  Dropped the first 3 passes, one of which bounced off the WRs hands and facemask into the air for interception (good job Percy).   And the trend continued throughout the game.

Just remember, Bob, we care about Michigan State. Unless the receivers went to MSU, you need to focus your attention, and your prayers, on Kirk. Thank you for your anticipated support in this difficult time.

Then you might want to look at your hiring, training, and management skills. They're falling down on the job, and you're taking the heat. I'll pray for you.

ST. LOUIS (AP) One defender slipped, two others whiffed and Zach Miller had clear sailing into the end zone, unusual for a tight end.

Jeremy Langford found some wide-open spaces, too, for a Chicago Bears offense that hit a high note against one of the NFL's better defenses.

Miller caught two touchdown passes, including an 87-yard score that was Chicago's longest play since 2010, and Langford also had two TDs, leading the Bears to a 37-13 victory over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.

The Bears (4-5) improved to 3-1 on the road. They brought thousands of fans to the Edward Jones Dome, which had a season-best 58,663 tickets distributed, about 8,000 shy of capacity.

Langford was untouched on an 83-yard TD on a screen and also had a 6-yard scoring run. The running back, filling in for the injured Matt Forte, had seven catches for 109 yards and 73 yards on 20 carries.

A Cook could heat up NFL draft

Talk of Fame Network

Football is a quarterback’s game.

If you don’t have one, you don’t have a chance.

Our listeners and readers at The Talk of Fame Network underscored that in this week’s poll, voting Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook as the overwhelming choice to become the first overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft.

We gave voters four choices based on conversations with NFL talent evaluators – a quarterback, two pass rushers, an offensive tackle and a linebacker — and Cook wound up with 70.7 percent of the vote to easily outdistance his teammate, Shilique Calhoun, at 16.3 percent. Ohio State offensive tackle Taylor Decker finished third at 6.5 percent, followed by Oregon pass rusher DeForest Buckner at 3.6 percent and Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland at 3.0 percent.
