I support Dave Brandon!

I am Steve Schneider, life long Spartan fan and I support Dave Brandon.

I support Dave Brandon! And while we're at it I support Brady Hoke!

I understand the theory of letting them keep the incompetent clowns, but remember, Football isn't like Basketball where a few players in a short time, coached well can make a difference.

Firing Hoke and Brandon- ( absolutely necessary- regardless of my MSU fandom) will only bring more uncertainty, more discontent and dishonor to a program that is in shambles. The strength of MSU ( especially) and OSU as well as the re-emergence of PSU will undermine SCum's efforts.

There are coaches that would do a great job at SCum, but they wont be considered because SCum thinks its too good for anything but a "name brand" coach. Almost all name brand coaches are getting paid great at their schools and don't need the extra strength headache of "MEEEEEECHIGAN". Its a shit job where you now have to go against Dantonio, Meyer and Kelly for recruits. The NFL messiahs don't want to go back to College and have to recruit 24/7/365.

Bottom line: its not a desirable job and firing Hoke makes it even worse and no end in sight.

Best possible outcome for MSU is another round of unsuccessful coaching hires. Particularly if the new coach runs anything other than a traditional pro-style offense followed by another hire switching back.

I don't. I hope scum fires him. I am scared of what Brandon could do if he is really given full reigns to bring his vision to life. Keeping him around will only bring bad things for MSU and the rest of tB1G/nation

I disagree with this post and the one before it. I felt the same way towards the end with Rich Rod. We want them to twist in the wind of mediocrity and have UM hang on too both of them for 1-2 years too long. This year is the clear, common sense time to get rid of both.

I would prefer that they somehow come back and finish 7-5 with a win over OSU and a bowl loss. They bring them back next year, more shenanigans, and another 7-5 record with a win over OSU. Bring them back one more year...0-12. Clean house.

Just some background here, my friend comes from a family of Michigan alums. Her aunt who is an alum had enough of this garbage so she decided to speak up.

She sent a very respectful email to Dave Brandon that was well-written on their families' opinion of the job he is doing and she said that they no longer were season ticket holders.

This is by no means a fake. This is his actual email which I have confirmed on here before, as has another poster when he posted a story about DB snapping back at him.

She thought I should pass this along and I found this very interesting given the interview coming out today.

Wouldn't bother me one bit if the wolvies tried to relive their glory years of the 70's forever. That would insure their irrelevance in college football for the same amount of time
