Looks like we'll land 4 of the state's top 10 recruits

According to 247. The top two though, Cole and Weber are heading elsewhere. I never thought Weber was going to come here unless Scott decommitted and went to OSU. Cole's recruitment seems a bit weird and we aren't even recruiting him anymore.

We flat out lost Alabi to Ohio State--sure ok. And Moorman the OL from Northville who's going to Wisky--I assumed we wanted him. But Im not sure we really recruited Malzone once we landed Lewerke and the 9th rated recruit is a RB from Auburn Hills going to Cinci we didn't recruit.

So it appears we heavily targeted 8 players in the top 10. Landed 4 and lost 4.

I know nothing about 'crooting, so I'll ignorantly add my 2 cents worth because that's what I do - maybe the OL guy chances his mind after Wisky lost their coach and goes green.

2016 is going to rough. We are going to likely end up with only 2 or 3 top 10-12 recruits. We are huge favorites to land Corley the stud WR from Detroit and Pettaway the stud RB from St Clair Shores.

However, there are 3 big time linemen in Onwenu from Cass, Jordan from Plymouth, and Likusa from Traverse City. Its unlikely MSU lands any of them. Plus Hill, the DB from Cass is likely going to OSU too. OSU gets whoever they want from Cass right now.

MSU is going to need to go out of state in a big way in 2016.

What's the deal with all of OL you listed? Who are they leaning toward?

Jordan is a heavy UM/OSU lean. Onwenu is all but committed to Ohio State. We are making up ground on Likusa, but he grew up a UM fan in a pro UM family.

Oh and the #1 recruit Daelin Hayes is alreadycommitted to U$C.

Meh, we only lost $150k last week, will only take about 3 months to make that up.

Then there is an article in the LA Times that is sending some shockwaves through the industry. Not so much the content, but the fact that the authors finally had some balls to actually name the companies they were investigating.
