I have not used shaving cream for probably almost 20 years. What does it do for you? I practice the old triple s, shit shower and shave. The shower loosens up the old whiskers good. Thoughts? Is there a shaving cream industry conspiracy?

I use gel. I shave in the shower. Amazing how much closer of a shave this achieves.

I don't shave. When I did shave it was in the shower and I just used water. I am not sure I could get used to the shit shower you speak of.

Bought an electric trimmer a while ago and the thing destroys the skin on my neck. Plus it seems to work by taking the hair out of my face rather than clipping, I really hate that thing.

I'm rocking a shitty beard at the moment, but when I was shaving, I always used gel and a 3-5 blade razor. Electric razors have never gotten close enough for my taste when going clean-shaven, but I've also never shelled out for an expensive one, so that's probably a contributing factor.

Buy that shave oil. Think it's called "Lectric Shave" or something ...green bottle. Made for electric shavers.

Neither. I just use hot water from the shower and a quality razor. Shave gel is 99% water anyway. Then again, I'm only shaving around my lower neck line...not my whole face.
