Well today I waited for 4 hours for my Dominican 'friend' to drop off an 8-ball and 2 bundles of H before he took his monthly trip to California... I did this because my better half ALSO left for California this morning for a week (unrelated, they don't know each other). After that I partook with a very good friend of mine here at home and we watched both episodes of Better Call Saul, because we were really looking forward to it. We then continued to dig into the 8-ball until I got an unexpected call from a colleague that says I have to be up at 4am to be at the studio by 5am in order to present some new material for a project we've been working on for the past 4 months.

This was suppose to take place Wednesday evening however those individuals need to be in California also (what the hell is going on in California that everyone needs to be there this week????)... so now I'm fucking WIRED, watching the Calgary / San Jose game and will have been up for over 48 hours... but I don't want to use any diesel as a sleeping aid because I did that yesterday and it's not a good idea to do that two days in a row unless you're looking to tell everyone you have "the flu" for the next 3-4 days... not to mention it really sucks as if you really did have the flu. So I plan on just staying up for the next couple of hours... chug some coffee black (maybe just hit a few more bumps in the bathroom at the studio, too, to wake up)... and get on the train.

Fuck. All I wanted to do was have a fun evening in with my best bro but I can't because of responsibilities and paychecks.
