Woman gets 3-7 for shooting after they forgot the bacon

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- A Michigan woman has been sentenced to three to seven years in prison for opening fire at a McDonald's restaurant after workers twice failed to put bacon on her burgers.

Authorities say 30-year-old Shaneka Torres became angry in February 2014 when the first burger she ordered at the restaurant's drive-up station was missing bacon. She was offered a free meal, but bacon also wasn't added to a second burger order.

Police say she fired a shot through the restaurant. No one was injured.

I plan on hitting up the Adirondacks on a regular basis still. My backpacking crew all reside in NYC so until I find some bros in the mitten that have the gear and the knowledge to do so in MI... I'll be coming back here (or going by myself, obviously).

I'm excited. I truly am. I was bummed out a lil a couple of months back, but... now I'm completely bought in on the idea of living, working and raising a family in the GR area.

Sure, it's a neo-con culty religious area but I'll survive. Can't beat a hot summer day at Lake Michigan... and I'll be but a half hour from that beauty.

Theres going to be whack jobs wherever you go, GR is no different. You'll be fine and enjoy the location.

Chicago, Lake Michigan, EL, Detroit, "up north" all driving distance. Lots of things to do. I'm probably leaving a few months after you get back to MI, but there will be things I miss I'm sure.
