Ballers and Tyrant
Not enough traffic here to dedicate a thread to each.
So I will just say these are my 2 favorite shows right now.
Anyone watching either or both?

I have only seen parts of ballers and it seems like something I might dig. I don't even know what tyrant is.
I am just getting to old ass shows and finally watching them. I just finished the good wife, and now I'm watching In treatment, which is a really good show. I will probably start sons of anarchy after that. soooooo anyway, I'm not helping.

Don't start SoA. Please don't. It was honestly my favorite show on TV for 2-4 seasons. Then it became horrifyingly terrible. And at that point you just can't quit on it. Kurt Sutter is the worst. I hate him more than I hate.....pretty much anyone else in the world.

Oh and Tyrant is not great. There are bad actors and the writing isn't great but it's fun. Especially if you know any off-the-boat 'Rabs. Because the mindset has a ring of truth to it.

Maybe I'll just stop after 2-4 seasons? I can quit. I can.

That kind of sums it up, but I've been hooked on Tyrant from the start. I think the fun is actually beginning, though, with Bassam caught in the middle between the Isis-like rebels and the family regime. I've yet to figure out which country Abbudin is supposed to be, Qatar, Kuwait?
BTW, Leila Al-Fayeed is a nice looking Middle East woman.

It was supposed to be Syria(one of the writers let that out when it first aired)....also why they actually mentioned Syria earlier this season in an episode. Also, they were planning on fleeing into Lebanon which only has a land border with Syria(other than Israel and we know that isn't Israel on the show).

Yep I like Tyrant. I wonder if Basams family will find out this season he's still alive.

I've never heard of Tyrant, but I've been watching Ballers since the beginning. So far I'm enjoying the show and hoping it doesn't take itself too seriously.

It's harder to whack off when you have to scroll so much.
