I don't believe we're going to drop at all.  Every media report I've seen other than BTN treated it like we won as expected ho hum.  The BTN went into more detail for every game and their only negative comment was that we needed to clean some things up but they expected that we would.

Western: 1-3
Oregon 2-2
Air Force 2-1
CMU 1-3

so the Spartans have beaten exactly ONE team with a winning record (so far), and the "signature" win is at home against a team that was just jail sexed 62-20 in their own stadium.

look, I think MSU can be a great team - but rankings at this time are all about ESPN, Game Day and the media having shit to talk about.

Play is pretty sloppy, too many penalties, Cook continues to be horribadawesome, running game is good (at times, primarily as the line settles in). I want to see some Green & White on NYE in a playoff game so bad, but they aren't playing at that level....yet. And neither is anyone else.

The rankings will take care itself, provided MSU takes care of business on the field.
