Two of 'em today - Northern Arizon and South Texas.
Must be a directional school thing. Not a gun issue at all.

so it's not a "school shooting" but it just "happened to be on a campus"?
maybe libs should ban campuses.
It's in a different category is what I'm saying. I'm all for gun reform, but it's not necessary to fudge numbers in order to have an overwhelming argument to that end. This isn't like Columbine or Sandy Hook or Oregon or Denver. This is a conflict that turned violent.
Of course it's not Sandy Hook or Oregon or Denver. It's college kids doin' stupid college kids stuff.
Let's move on. Maybe there'll be a bigger shooting next week, let's hope.

If by awry you mean that a college kid shot four other college kids killing at least one of them, then yes, it went awry.

Yeah but in 1927 this guy in Bath killed a bunch of kids with a bomb. Funny how no one wants to talk about that now.

Your thoughts and prayers aren't with anyone unless they're creating something for you to stir shit over. Be honest, you don't really give a fuck, it's all a game.

South Texas was a school shooting if you define shootings not happening at schools as such, but carry on.

We need to ban buses before they're used to kill off our retirees like in France.

At least 42 people were killed in a collision between a bus and truck in southwestern France on Friday, French President Francois Hollande said.

And we better ban knives too....before we end up like Sweden.
Teacher, student killed in stabbing as masked man attacks Swedish school; 2 others wounded
COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — A sword-wielding masked man who students thought was playing a Halloween prank stabbbed four people at a school with a large immigrant community in southern Sweden on Thursday, killing a teacher and a student before being shot dead by police.
The 21-year-old assailant, who posed with students before beginning his deadly rampage, roamed the halls of the Kronan school in the industrial town of Trollhatan, knocking on the doors of two classrooms and slashing those who opened them, authorities said.

Whenever there's another killing the gun lobby is ready with an example of a crazy with a higher body count but don't call it justification for their hard line views.
I define hard line as fighting 72 hour waiting registration of all guns sold by a dealer or individual after legislation has passed and including background checks for previous felonies, restraining orders sworn out in the last 12 months, mental health issues. Same type of info they require for a state professional license.
Few want to take your gun. I just want to track ownership like we do for cars, trucks and boats.

Yeah but bad guy with a gun. And good guy with a gun. And bad child with a gun. And it's mental health. And this one time 100 years ago.
Sigh. I'm not doing this shit today. Someone should make a law that people can't shoot up schools on Fridays. Only on Tuesdays when I'm more willing to have these conversations.
Now that I think about it a lot of the high profile ones have been on Fridays, haven't they? Get on that law Obama.

Re: Yawn, another school shooting
Its a lot of things and most people end up posting an atrocity that don't involve guns as a reason for inaction of waiting periods, background checks, purchase records and registration or they point to mental health, day of the week or other diversionary statement.
Why no one bats an eye for registering and licensing our cars or trucks but guns are some how sacrosanct.

Point it out? See your problem other than being a jackass, a stalker and being addicted to a washed out schtick is that you make things up to fit your narrative.
No one defended anyone in this thread. Only your warped mind equates a murderer with a patriot, I'm certain that all Americans that consider themselves patriots appreciate that.
As I said yesterday you won't post this shit over on the 2 boards created for your crap because you refuse operate without an audience for your supposed brilliance and you lost your audience there long ago. So you constantly pollute this board with your stupid bullshit and it's allowed to go on.
I wonder if HM and SRC have ever considered that the stalled growth here might be related to your act? A certain number of people are willing to tolerate you to stay off tRCMB the rest can't take it and leave? I don't know but if true I can understand why they would do so.

They're sacrosanct because they're in the Constitution. Using your "tracking" logic it would be permissible to register any communication device.
Additionally your automobile registration argument falls down because you do not need a license to drive or to even register a vehicle used on private property.

Re: Yawn, another school shooting
The constitution argument is parsing. Many of the gun owners I know (I have shotguns, rifles and a hand gund gun but no CCP) have no interest being in an organized militia which is also part of the Constitution.
Other than a pathological fear of the Federal government seizing all weapons, I don't get it. Even if the Feds tried they would be even less successful than they were when they encourage everyone to get rid of their old currency including paper money that were silver certificates.
We have a lot of guns out there including my home. I will never see the harm in laws requiring me to report a sale to the county, state or Federal government for numbers reporting and tracking. Same for dealers and sales at gun shows.
We will agree to disagree on this one.

You're angry. You scream and shout like a little child. You write long, rambling posts where you swear and call people names. Basically, you're a dick and you lose your mind when Bob posts. It's way more off putting than the guy who just posts the same thing over and over. His stuff is easily ignored.
Your posts are the kind that turn me off toward boards. His are a mild nuisance at best.

Re: Yawn, another school shooting
I don't know the dude, but I gather that he's old, angry and probably has some sort of emotional void in his life. He's the same guy who starts a thread complaining about how "damn touchy" people are.. and then he regularly goes on obscenity-filled rants where he participates in the name-calling of people who have opinions different from his.Travis of the Cosmos wrote:LooseGoose wrote:

it's an odd behavior, though not unique. And it does provide a glimpse into his world view.
Anyway - whatcha gonna do?
you're a great America, though - because you choose to ignore people like me. Ignoring people who have no real impact on your life is actually much more effective than allowing them to cause varying degrees of anxiety.

Bob. Don't you even say things like you have no impact on my life. You are one of the top ten most influential people in my life. Right after Jim Harbaugh (the hate I have for him fuels me) and Barack Obama.
Regardless. Can we all start yelling about guns now?

yeah - let's start screaming, ranting, yelling obscenities, diverting people's attention away from the pertinent issues, consistently demonstrate how miserable we are, expect people to agree with our opinions and basically say "if you don't like it, you can leave"..
