How bad does our defense suck? 1-10?

1 lowest suck 10 highest we suck. I'm saying 7

Secondary is a 9. 

Front 7 is like a 3.

Luckily they get to play against Jake Rudock next week.

Every team we've played with the exception of AFA is more talented in the passing game than UM. I think that's a true statement.

In comparison to the last few years D's, this year's D is a 9, in comparison to the rest of college football, probably a 3 or 4. I think we have an average D1 defense right now.

Defense is 9.98. We give up 376 yards a game (checking in around the 70's which sucks dick) and Scum only gives up 184 (2nd) Lets not blame it on the secondary either, we have given up a shit ton of rushing yards every game, including tonight.

Pit is 3rd with 243 yards allowed a game

We got spoiled with some of the best defense in program history recently so our perspective isn't great when we merely have an average defense that is dealing with injuries.

the defense is playing at at 5-6 of 10 level.

I remember teams coached by George Perles, Nick Saban, Bobby Williams and JLS that face similar situations and those teams would have probably been 3-3 or 2-4 because they couldn't stop an opponent, couldn't generate comebacks or both with everyone healthy.

This team has multiple starters on defense that have long term injuries. You can piss and moan but be cognizant of the fact Dantonio is burning redshirts to replace injured starters.

If Nicholson would be playing at a high level like we all thought the defense would be solid.

But he's terrible and Dantonio is using Willis at times back there.

Frey seems to have been quiet the past few games too.
