Slept for about four hours this afternoon.  Thank god for DVRs. Actually starting to feel human again, so I'm not getting into the van.

Feeling about 98% marvelous today. I think I know how I got sick...rare trip to Taco Bell widweek. Probably got bad lettuce listeria, it's a miracle I'm still alive.

Are you in the Lansing area? There's a pretty bad stomach flu going around. Most of the staff in my wife's business were puking their guts out last week.

Meanwhile, my sore throat has decreased enough for me to swallow food without it feeling like I've been chewing glass shards. The body aches are about half as bad as they were. I'll be good to go in a couple of days. I'll lay low today and kick into gear tomorrow. I'm old enough to have learned that rest is the best thing.

No need for worrying anymore, Travis. Your two daddys and going to be fine. Just pay me my money and we'll be good.

Not in the Lansing area.  Lovely Sterling Hts by day, Shelby Twp by night. The only symptoms I had were chills, a maybe a little feverish and achy,  a tooth that hurt like hell and a general feeling of malaise. I'm guessing it was some infection putting pressure on a never going to the tooth.  Anyway, it only lasted like 36 hours and now I could wrestle a tornado like Pecos Bill.

Went to work this morning feeling fine. Started getting the chills about 8:45. By 9:15 was shaking so bad couldn't type or control my mouse. Went home and crawled in bed without taking off anything...clothes, shoes, jacket, everything. Got nauseous but only had dry heaves. Feeling a little better now. Chills went away but running a slight fever.

And, before anyone blames raw milk I have not had any in like 2 1/2 weeks.

I don't really know what that is, but it doesn't look overly functional. I like my stuff to look like it's being used.

I've always been a muscle car fan - I'd love to have an old GTO or maybe a 71-72 Challenger.. but I want it to have some rust on it.. some dents. I want it to look worn.

I love old tractors. Don’t know much about them, but always enjoy seeing them. Our friends with the dairy farm let me drive one as a little kid, until another guy in town died when his tractor flipped on him. That’s when mom put the kibosh on my solo tractor driving career. CSB.

I've been fighting a cold for two effing weeks now, so no, I dont feel bad for any of you.

Power went out at 8 and still not back on. Only thing lighting the room is the battery powered I-V cart. HVAC is back up and running but there is dead silence in the halls.

Cellulitis can be brutal. And that shit smells awful. Back when I worked in MRI, we did a lot of cellulitis legs/feet. Painful stuff

Didn't have any open wounds...just swelling and redness. They were not absolutely definitive on the release papers but suspect streptococcal cellulitis.

After 3 days in there I'm feeling extremely tired. Seems odd, especially since I had a private room with no roommate and their nurses to keep me up. Room was interior with no windows. First time I've seen the light of day since Sunday around noon.
