Daughter is actually done with three of her five classes. Asked if we could go to pizza house for fried pickles. What the hell do I care? The pickles were horrible and the thin crust pizza I ordered was worse. But I wasn’t there for food. Was good talking to her. She’s worried about one of her last two classes, tried to joke about it but that went nowhere. So, dropped her off. Went to the road house.

just now seeing this.. yeah, I hear ya. The pickles/pizza story sucks but hangin' with the kid is nice. Ours tends to freak and obsess over the most minor of things but that's a good thing, mostly - likely better than not worrying about anything (me).

the kid just finished up her last full-time semester - a summer internship, then a few credits in the fall and a few in the spring.
