Former Spartan, Adam Gase, gets Dolphins job

Gase named new Dolphins coach today. He went to Marshall HS and attended MSU. He did not play at MSU but did assist the coaching staff as an undergraduate.

WOTS is Gase will attempt to hire Cooter as his OC and Cooter doesn't have a contract.

From Chicago and Detroit football reporters last week when discussing Caldwell's precarious position, the Lions wanting to hire a GM before any decisions were made about retaining Caldwell and Cooter essentially being a free agent since he had a one year contract with Detroit.
