But earlier this month, the health system finalized an agreement that makes University of Michigan Health the sole corporate owner of Sparrow, a deal that includes MSU’s primary medical campus.

Doesn't MSU have something like 50k students and staff? Or maybe 55k with staff? That's the size of a small town. Or the population of N. Dakota.

Good point. At least late 80s. I didn’t look for Breslin. I went by the tennis courts south of the stadium, the old rodeo barn across from the Int’l Center, central services (& gas station), tundra.

I gotta think, that is the weirdest investment a university can make. Maybe there more bizarre instances but this has to be right up there. Med school in Detroit?

Besides, what good did moving to WJR really do for MSU. Owing the building is going to help with that?
