Mccaffrey only did 10 reps , I can do more.
Malik McDowell 6-6 1/4, 295 pounds, 10 1/2 hands. 83 inch wingspan.
Peppas 5-10 7/8, 213 pounds, 9 5/8 hands, 30 3/4 arms, 74 inch wingspan.
Also Fournette weighed in at 15 lbs over his playing weight at 240lbs... he said "its water weight"
Clarett's Folly wrote:And just like that Fournette becomes a hard pass.
I've never heard of a RB adding that much weight, sounds like someone got fat and sassy. Its hard overlooking those highlights of him stiff arming players and trucking guys into the earths core

I agree. He's such a physical specimen. I think the trick for GMs now becomes making peace with the notion of passing on a potential superstar. Is he going to run the 40?

Peppers running with the LBs at under 6' and 213lbs. I will lol at the GM that drafts him as a safety that can't cover.

I am pretty sure, my guess he will run a 4.5 something.

I hope someone does not named Detroit, Oakland, Miami, Houston or wherever Kirk ends up. Then I hope he fails miserably. I would like for him to be known as the biggest bust ever then I will be satisfied.

Re: 2017 NFL Draft
If I'm playing Lions GM, I would go best defensive guy, especially if it is a LB. And I generally don't like taking an RB early, but I would take Cook in a heartbeat and maybe even McCaffery with the 1st pick. I love Cook, he can run, catch, block and can be an every down back. McCaffrey is a fit in the right offense and the Lions are one of those.

This is an interesting watch on Malik. I was a little more excited to share this until I googled the guy who made the video. The content is really good and it *seems* like he knows what he's talking about, but he's basically just got a background in video production and analysis. Still worth watching.

Re: 2017 NFL Draft
great share WBH, this guy knows what he's talking about and has obviously watched tons of film. He did work 7 years at the NFL network even as a production assistant you are watching tons of football and learning everything football for 7 years. Now I am watching more of this guys video but he's summed up Malik pretty spot on. Found this bit of what he said about Peppas, "I don't think he'll be able to cover tight ends personally. He's so small that once they cross his face he's pretty much fucked."
- Spoiler:
- I also like turtles

Regardless of his background, it is a solid scouting report. MM was dominate (especially at NT, I never liked the idea of moving him o/s) when he wanted to be/healthy. The Clowney comparison is a good one.
Saw that he weighed in at 300lbs. Curious to see if that was intentional or if he's bulking up to stay inside (DT or 3-4 DE). He's better inside than out, but obviously not a NT in the NFL.

Re: 2017 NFL Draft
People are really up in arms about this interview at the combine. I feel like they're taking this tweet out of context.
https://twitter.com/LedyardNFLDraft/status/838124179769688064?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
Here's the video: https://vimeo.com/206756518
It's hard as fuck to hear, but it just so happens I have my ANC headphones handy as I'm charging them for a flight tomorrow so I threw them on and cranked the volume up.
What he did basically was throw himself under the bus. He could not learn the hand techniques they were teaching him and wasn't getting it so once it was apparent it wasn't working but he was still making plays they said hey, you do you. Big fuckin whoop. Don't really think that's throwing MSU under the bus.
He also says he had a lot going on this year body-wise and motivation wouldn't be a problem going forward as the season spiraled out of control
Not a good look for him. I still think this guy's talents are going to be too good to pass up in the first round. He's not Randy Gregory, talent-wise. I wouldn't bet on Top 15 but I'd bet on first round.

Just saw Ezra Robinson is at the combine. In case you forgot he transferred a couple years back and ended up at Tennessee State. Earned himself a couple all American honors this last year in the FCS, good for him.

Good for him. We could've used him the past couple of years.

More on the above....
Winners and losers from the 2017 NFL scouting combine
Michigan State DL Malik McDowell — Allow us to explain how a 6-foot-6, 295-pound prime athlete with long arms and big hands who runs a 4.85 40 is on the “losers” list. Said one team: “Worst interview we did.” Added another: “Awful interview. Awful.” What concerns scouts most is that for all his tremendous upside — watch him destroy Michigan, for instance — McDowell’s production and tape don’t always match up. Scouts feel like he takes plays off too often. And when they asked him about that, he got defensive. They also asked him about his attitude and work ethic, which were concerns. Many of those questions remain unanswered.
“The cautionary tale is Clowney,” one team explained. “You see him now, he’s dominant; we had those same questions [for McDowell] when he came out. Does he love football? Is he going to work?
“With [McDowell], I can’t figure out what makes this kid tick. He might be the type who, maybe he falls [in the draft] and it lights a fire under him. I don’t know. But I need that light on more often, and he didn’t like it when we asked him about that.
“McDowell might never fully show his full skill, but passing on him also means you’re missing out on a potentially rare talent.”

The problem is, Nicholson has to play actual football.
The kid is a major bust and sucks ass.
Would be a terrible pick outside of round 7.

He was all big-ten but I agree he's been disappointing at times but he'll be on an NFL roster next year, 6th round pick by the Texans, book it. BOB likes CMD's players

Well he appears to be blowing up at the combine and just might make an NFL team.
Players that 'suck ass" generally don't do that.
I get he is no Jabrill Peppers and wasn't coached by Harbs.

Using Clowney as a cautionary tale for Malik is kind of dumb. Clowney went #1 overall.
Anonymous NFL sources will say a lot of things to possibly get a pick to drop, so that they can draft them.

It is not dumb at all. I know you take the literal inpretation of everything, but no one is saying Malik has the same talent as Clowny. The comparison is Clowny was dogged for not showing up and taking plays off in his final year.
