I remember youth. I remember well the feeling of mud squishing between my toes and the tightness of a fresh sunburn on my neck. I can still smell the hair of my girlfriend when I was 16. I remember every faked orgasm she ever had. Since then life has been a series of traveling a long way to end up in the same place: A place of doubt and self-disgust. Life as NASCAR: Drive fast, turn Left. But where do you really go? That was a rhetorical question. "Nowhere" is the answer. So in the summer of 2016 I decided to go on a journey to rediscover that place of my youth. To find the mud and squish it between my toes again. To find those fake orgasms. Somewhere, out there, there was a lazy Sunday afternoon, lying beneath a weeping willow tree as the sun trickled through the leaves like molten silver with my name on it. And I was going to find it. BY GOD WOULD I FIND IT! And when I found that day, I would grab it with both hands and caress it like a creepy dad caresses his daughter's hair. It's like "yeah you love her, but... ewww." That's how I'd hold that day in my hands. So with the blessings of my corporate masters and a pocket full of burger king coupons, I set off. In this respite from the eternal assfuck of adult working life I would reinvent myself. And that reinvention would be like lube that would make the assfucking a little less rough... and dare I say, maybe even enjoyable once in a while.

I actually liked the part about the sunburn feeling tight on his neck. I thought that was an excellent description, quite vivid. It happened early enough in the piece that it gave me hope for the rest. Nay, I was set up for disappointment, as were we all. The rest was a steaming pile of dog poop, the kind that has scattered strands of fur throughout the logs from where the pooch has been licking his balls or dog pussy.
