Harbaugh is a unique character and it is easy to see how his personality would rub some people the wrong way, but unlike his last coaching stop, everyone seems on the same page and all egos are being put aside to achieve the goals that the Wolverines set out to achieve.

He grew up in Ann Arbor. He played quarterback for Michigan and has roots in the community. He gets to raise his children where he was raised.

Harbaugh is going to have to win at Michigan, and he knows that. Everything points to both sides being happy for a very long time.

it's safe to say that regardless of where Harbaugh lives, MSU fans will obsess over him anyway... all while being critical of the media coverage.

which makes me proud to be a Spartan.
