I think it was his rich friends that told him to suppress the Free Press in this country by holding a 78 minute press conference and answering every question they had. I wonder how many times Bush II or Obama did that?

If this was somehow supposed to tie into Kushner meeting with Time Warner regarding CNN...I don't think you did a good job with the reference.

And the inference that Trump is somehow for a free press (or for it to a greater extent than Obama and Bush II) is laughable...and you know that based on the many comments Trump has made. His whole campaign and Presidency (so far) has been about fake news and the dishonest media. No President has ever pushed that agenda like he has...that you would even imply otherwise is laughable.

The points were you don't ask a reporter to try to set up a meeting and the Trump story he told wasn't true because Congressman Cummings office had no record of The White House calling. The section nd was Trump told Jake Trux to sit down, didn't address the subject of the question and didn't allow a follow up.

I didn't imply he was anti-semite.  I said he told Jake Trux to sit down and never answered the question.  Trump talked about his friendly relationships and NEVER ANSWERED THE QUESTION.

Goose I think you enjoy the thought of an authoritarian who shares a majority of your core values.

I didn't say Trump is incompetent. He's well suited to lead an authoritarian government one party nation. He's been an authoritarian style business leader surrounded by yes men.

Typically the US government has people who aren't yes men who are long time employees of the State Department, FBI and CIA who relay intel to the NSA who tells Presidents when they are wrong and where they might go wrong.

It took Trump hearing no from Admiral Hayward (USN ret) who is fluent in Farsi and Patraeus removing his name from consideration for Trump to reach the conclusion he couldn't force the NSA to take whoever Trump had chosen for the rest of their staff.

An authoritaian wants to name their NSA's staff rather than having the NSA choose their own staff.

Fans of authoritarian leaders don't think thats a big deal.
